My name is Aranka Prágainé Mágori. I was born in 1967, in Makó. I started my studies there, then I continued them in Hódmezővásárhely as a porcelain painter and graphic artist.
I was attracted to the arts since my childhood, the shaping of things, the cognition of materials. I also tried statuettes, painted watercolours, painted with henna and decorated walls, doors, and windows.
During this journey I often felt the joy of creation. The opportunities provided by the material, the colours of the aquarelle, the lines of the graphics, the journey into the world of henna all offered me joy.
In 2005 I was invited to Florence to the Fifth International Biennial of Contemporary Arts. I was elected to the biennial by the chairman, Prof. Pasquale Celone and thereby I got eternal right to these biennials, which are held in every two years.
My works are present not only in Hungary but in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well.
I am working on these today as well. First, during the painting of glass I experienced the feeling when one can say:
I felt the feeling of a miracle, that was born within me when I discovered the glass, the special paints.
I thank you in advance if you look at my paintings and I sincerely hope that it will provide you with the same joy that the creation meant to me.
